Vietnam Visa for Jordanian Citizens

Jordanian passport holders need a visa in advance to enter Vietnam. Apply online below.

A Jordanian passport needs a visa for Vietnam, and the online e-visa is the practical way to get one. Jordan has no exemption arrangement with Vietnam and there is no genuine visa on arrival, but Vietnam's Immigration Department issues the e-visa to every nationality for a stay of up to 90 days. With us it costs USD 75 for one entry or USD 100 for multiple entries, all-in, and a person reviews your application before it is filed.

If you are a Jordanian living in Dubai, Riyadh, Doha or Kuwait City, your residence plays no part in the decision. Vietnam looks at the passport in your hand, so the e-visa for a Jordanian in the Emirates is identical to the one for a Jordanian in Amman, with the same documents and the same price. There is no need to send a residence permit, an employer letter or a salary certificate.

You will need two documents. The first is an image of your passport's data page showing the whole page — photo, personal details and the machine-readable lines — with no corners missing. The second is a recent portrait on a white background, looking straight at the camera, without glasses. Nothing else is uploaded: no bank statement, ticket or reservation. We ask where you plan to enter and leave Vietnam, when you will leave and where you will stay, as the portal requires.

The e-visa's 90 days start from its issue date, so apply roughly two to three weeks before you travel. Processing officially takes three working days; we promise three to five, longer around Tet in late January or February. Your passport should have 6 months of validity remaining. And if Phú Quốc is the whole trip, arriving there directly from abroad gives you up to 30 days on the island without a visa — though the mainland still requires the e-visa.

Questions Jordanian travellers ask

Do Jordanian citizens need a visa for Vietnam?

Yes. Jordanian passports are not visa-exempt for Vietnam. The e-visa, issued online for up to 90 days, single or multiple entry, is the usual route, and we file it for you.

Can I apply from the Gulf?

Yes. Vietnam decides by passport, not residence, so Jordanians living in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar or Kuwait apply exactly as they would from Jordan.

Is there a visa on arrival?

Not a real one. The airport only stamps approval letters arranged in advance through a Vietnamese sponsor. The e-visa is the official alternative and is ready before you board.

How long does the e-visa take?

Officially three working days; three to five with us after our document check, and longer around Tet. Apply two to three weeks ahead, since the 90 days start on the issue date.
