Learn More: India Tourist eVisa

India is a country with diverse culture and beautiful landscapes, including bustling cities. Whether you’re a tourist, visiting family, attending an event, or seeking medical care, the India Tourist Visa is what you need for your Indian adventure.

Getting a visa can be complicated, but don’t worry. eVisaplanet makes it easy and fast to apply for an India Tourist Visa. We’ll help you get to India quickly.

What is India eVisa?

The India eVisa is an electronic travel authorization that allows eligible foreign nationals to enter India for tourism, business, medical treatment, or conferences.

What can I do with an India Tourist Visa?

India Tourist allows you to enter the country for various purposes, including:

  • Tourism
  • Family Visit
  • Undertake some business visitor activities

The Indian Embassy Visa is a Multiple Entry permit, with validity ranging from 5 to 10 years, determined by your nationality. Qualified foreign nationals can remain in India for a maximum duration of 90 to 180 days. Please be aware that individuals holding a Pakistani passport are only eligible to apply for a single-entry visa, allowing stays of up to 90 days.

The key contrast between an India Tourist Visa and an India Tourist e-Visa lies in the application procedure. The traditional paper visa necessitates a visit to an Indian embassy or consulate. With e-visa, applicants can submit documents and fees online.

Side Note: evisas are exclusively for tourism purposes and has a shorter validity period.

What documents do I need to apply for an India Tourist Visa?

Ensure the following:

  • Passport: Your passport remains valid for a minimum of six months from your arrival date in India with at least 2 blank pages.
  • Clear copies of your passport bio page and any relevant pages (e.g., with previous Indian visas and stamps).
  • Passport Photo
  • Bank statements from the last 3 months or salary slips from the last 6 months to show you have enough funds for your stay.
  • Proof of legal residence if applying from a country other than your citizenship.
  • Appointment letter and document checklist, if applicable.
  • For minors traveling with you, you’ll need:
    • A consent letter signed by both parents or legal guardians.
    • The child’s birth certificate.
    • Valid passports of both parents or legal guardians.
    • Child custody letter for divorced parents or consent letter and child benefit letter for single parents.

Don’t worry if it sounds complicated. Our team will guide you through the process, and you’ll receive a step-by-step guide for peace of mind.
